As Chairman of Lapai Local Government, we launched the Light-Up Lapai initiative - a bold and transformative effort to illuminate our communities and enhance public safety. Under this initiative, we provided transformers and installed over 1,000 streetlights across communities in Lapai, significantly improving nighttime visibility and security for residents. Beyond the lights themselves, this project symbolised our commitment to creating safer, more liveable communities where businesses can thrive after dark, children can move freely, and every resident feels secure in their neighbourhood.
