Lapai Water Intervention Project (L-WIP)

Access to clean water is a basic human right, and under the Lapai Water Intervention Project (L-WIP), we took decisive action to make that right a reality for communities across Lapai. We provided solar-powered motorized water pumps to communities, delivering a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution to the longstanding water access challenge in the local government area. By harnessing solar energy to power these pumps, we ensured that communities have a reliable, cost-effective, and long-term water supply that is not dependent on grid electricity or fuel.
